Chezale aka “Lady Maverick” is a solo artist out of Arizona, originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Singing, rapping and dancing since her earlier years, she discovered that she wanted to do something with it and take it further around the age of 14. She wrote her first songs at 12 yrs old and has been performing since grade school. She dropped her debut album “MY STORY…The Making of a Maverick”, summer ’07. Often being compared to the likes of lyrical heavy hitters like Queen Latifah and Lauryn Hill, whom she admires and takes great inspiration from. She has a unique sound that encompasses Conscious Hip Hop and R&B; while giving the people something to move to, not leaving out her strong background as a dancer.
